I hate to say it but I think he's Bisexual. Theres too much evidence. I know he has a wife but he even said in an interview that the song Andy, You're a Star is about a crush on a boy in highschool.
It always makes me think about those people who think you're amazing and "a star" and get a little bit obsessed just because they think you're the best thing in the entire world. Like one of those crazy fans who loves you but just wants the best for you so is a little bit over-protective. I don't think it's anything sexual. Brandon is strange lol.
There are a few songs which lead me to believe that he is bisexual. But the speaker isn't always the subject, but I believe so in this case.
Just because a person is married and has a child, it doesn't automatically mean he is straight. And if a bisexual person gets married and reproduces, it doesn't mean he or she has magically changed.
A married person, though many don't like to accept this, can still find other people attractive, but are not compelled to act on it. So a married, bisexual man can still find both men and women attractive.
