It was cold outside, the wind carressing the trees. It was then that Kyon, along with new girlfriend Mikuru, decided to leave. Yuki had left two hours before. The only ones lingering were Haruhi and Koizumi, who were watching a movie about a magical necklace. It was intresting to them; to Kyon it was unessecarily dramatic, to Yuki it was "overly reactive", and to Mikuru it was just plain scary.
"OMG!! Noooooo!! ALL MY HALLUCIANTIONS ARE COMING TRUE!! IT'S THE...THE...GIANT STARBUCKS CUP!" Haruhi burst out laughing. "Starbucks?! How dumb. This movies good, but it has really bad acting." "Really? I find it to be great in effects." Koizumi said, reaching for the doorknob. He twisted it, but the door wouldn't open. "We're...locked in!!" Haruhi yelled. It's probably Kyon's doing. "Hey, Kyon, did you keep the door unlocked?" Mikuru asked. "Mayyybe." Kyon smiled. It's what you get for that paintball game you forced us into! "You locked them in?! That's so mean! Your'e so bad!" "The baddest." Yuki looked unemotionally at them, laughing slightly. Nothing was better than watching their immaturity. "Damn you Kyon!" Haruhi yelled in anger. "I HOPE ALL YOUR GUARDIAN ANGELS DIE!! DIE I TELL YOU!!!" "Calm down for once, Ms. Suzumiya. Let's continue the movie." Koizumi suggested. If it was Kyon, she would have lashed out at him. If it was Mikuru...couldn't think of it. Same went to Yuki. But, seeking he was the only person who didn't dare object to the SOS Brigade's activities, she decided to trust him, concluding that she nor he had anything better to do. The movie went on pretty fast. The heroine defeated the monster, she died in the process, but was resurrected by her lover's kiss. Unbenowst to Haruhi nor Koizumi, this would be an inpsiration for something extraordinary. "We have to do a play on Hana no Nekkuresu." Kyon announced.." He passed everyone a flyer, which had all the roles. Haruhi- Vivian- Main character Kyon-Dark Force- Villian Mikuru- Lola- Bumbling assitant Koizumi-Elijah- Vivian's lover Yuki- Setup/Carrie-Robot ally Ryoko- Director Tsuruya- Setup "Hmmm, interesting." Koizumi looked over the Role list. "You chose well." "No he didn't!! I wanted to be director!" Tsuruya complained. "Hey, don't think i'm excited about this! We HAVE to do this. The council CHOSE the SOS Brigade to do this!" Kyon argued. As they fought, Haruhi stood there, looking at her role in disgust. "Is this revenge for the paintball game?" She grumbled. "No, locking you in with Koizumi was revenge for the paintball game." Kyon replied. "Damn you." "Your'e lucky I didn't lock you in with the school perverts." Haruhi stomped out the door. Who does Kyon think he is?! SERIOUSLY! I am going to do horrible things to him! "Cursing on Kyon, I see?" Koizumi commented. "He's going to die. I swear it." Haruhi grumbled. "Hmm." "Can you beileve were lovers in this play?" "I'm just as confused as you, ma'm." "What-What if-what if the script is based on the movie?" "Kyon wouldn't go that far." "Yes, he would." "In his heart he probably doesn't hate you that much." "C'mon, you two! We're handing out scripts!" Tsuruya called. "Awww!" Ryoko gushed. "What is it?" Mikuru asked. Whe she saw it, she smiled. "Awww!" "What?" Tsuruya asked. "Awww!" "What is it?!" Haruhi asked, annoyed with theyir gushes. "There's a cute kissing scene with you and Koizumi!" "KYON!!!" Haruhi grabbed Kyon's leg. She flipped him, his back landing on the ground. "Break my back, why don't you?!" He yelled. "I hope you live near a hospital, because you've gone way too far!" "Hey, it is not my fault! The council chose the roles too!" "Don't blame the council!" "It may not be so bad!" "You are freakin' dead!!" "Ack! Haruhi, let go!" "I'm leaving!" Dropping Kyon, Haruhi ran out the door. She looked at the script, ripped it up, and threw the pieces on the ground. The next day, production on Hana no Nekkuresu began. Where are your lines, Ms. Suzumiya?" Koizumi asked. "I ripped them." Haruhi replied. "Well then, you are welcome to use mine." "Uh...okay, thanks." "Chop, chop, everyone! As director I order you to hurry up!" Ryoko said. "Hey, who's Brigade Leader here?!" Haruhi argued. "Sorry! Kyon told me I was leader of the day." "KYOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!" "What is it Haru-ow!" Kyon winced as Ryoko's megaphone went flying at his head. "I'm the only leader, got it?!" Haruhi said through gritted teeth. Koizumi laughed a bit. Production didn't go well that day. Haruhi refused to do anything, while Kyon suffered near-injury because of her anger. Tsuruya kept compalining about her role, and Mikuru kept missing her lines. One day, at the final rehersal... "Time to work on Scene 38: Vivian's Death!" Ryoko announced. "Oh, great, we have to kiss in this scene." Haruhi said to Koizumi. "Actually, it's me that's kissing you. You just have to pretend you're dead." Koizumi said. "Your'e willing to anything, aren't you?" "I'm weird like that." Just how we Espers work. "Yeah, I am." "Time to do the scene!" Haruhi(as Vivian) stands liflessly for a while before collasping, dead. Kyon(As Dark Force) laughs maniaclly as Mikuru(as Lola) and Koizumi(as Ellijah) look in disbeilef. After a explanation by Yuki(as Carrie), Koizumi realizes what he must do. Dramatic music plays and Kyon, Mikuru and Yuki leave SR as he leans in to kiss Haruhi. "My buddies are gonna love this." Kyon snickered, turning on his camera. "Let's bail, Mikuru. Yuki's payimg for lunch." "Okay." Mikuru said as Yuki, Tsuruya and Ryoko followed. I wanna open my eyes to see what's happening. But I don't want to. What if it's Koizumi, mere seconds from kissing me?? That damn Kyo-[ Haruhi's thoughts stopped as she felt Koizumi's lips sink into hers. 20 electrical surges went thorough her body as the kiss deepened. 20 minutes later, the kiss ended as Koizumi lifted himself, peering down at a blushing Haruhi. "It...It wasn't supposed to be that long." She said. "Well, Kyon never told me when to stop." Koizumi explained. Leaping off the stage, Haruhi preceeded to the door only to discover they were locked in..again. "THAT BASTARD KYON!!!" She crossed her arms. "Haruhi." Koizumi called. Since when does he call me by name? "Yes?" Haruhi walked over to him. "I have something to tell you." "Spit it out, then." "I love you, Haruhi Suzumiya." "I...have no idea what to say." "How about, 'I love you too'?" "Fine." They kissed again, but this one had a difference: It wasn't an act. |
