YES. I think its got something to do with Red John and Jane's personal link to the murder. I think, each episode reveals Jane's connection to Red John after he murdered Jane's wife and child. I'm sure its an underlying story that's going to be solved over a season or two.

TV shows like to have a catch to name e.g frineds always has "the one where/wtih" or scrubs has "my something". However it is with out a doubt related to the red john story line after all that is the main underline plot line to the entire show. I only notcied a few weeks back but it's really good xx

Of course yes, this is because the bad man, Red John. I'm curious, if they ever will found him or not. Maybe just the end of the 4th, 5th season... :)

I think it's showing how although Jane is helping with other cases, and how he doesn't focus on finding Red John in every episode, underneath he still wants to catch him and make him pay for what he did to his family. It's just reminding us about the series arc that is Jane's obsession.
