“What are you going to L.A. for Marissa?” Anna asked suspiciously
“Um, shopping.” Marissa lied
“So you’re taking two cars?” Seth asked
“No...in fact, if you would be so kind as to drive my car home?” Marissa asked
“Sure...I guess.” Seth said as he ran a hand through his hair.
“Oh really, so you’re not going to visit a certain someone.” Anna persisted
“Uh..no. What are you talking about? I don’t even know anybody who’s in L.A.-
Marissa stopped in mid-sentence as it dawned on her that Hailey was in L.A.
Seth grabbed Anna by the arm with an excused
“C’ mon Anna I’m starved.” as he dragged her away.

“We’re not really going to L.A. are we?” Marissa asked as the two of them got into Alex’s jeep.
“No...unless you want to, but I just thought you could use some time away from all this drama.” Alex grinned.

Marissa was abruptly interrupted by someone behind her.
“Because she hung up.”
“Anna?” Caitlin said surprised
“Anna? What are you doing here? And Seth?” Marissa added as Seth came running up behind Anna
“We came to find you since you didn’t show up for school.” Anna said worriedly
“What are you? My mother?” Marissa said bitterly
“Caitlin, I didn’t know you were in town. How’s boarding school treatin ya?” Seth smiled
“I got here today.” Caitlin said with a less than enthused smile.
“Well, look who it is.” Ryan grinned as he walked up to the four of them.
“Doesn’t anybody go to school anymore?” Alex said as she stepped out from behind the bar.
“We got out early.” Ryan explained “And might I add that you look stunning today.” he grinned at Alex
“Shove it Atwood.” Marissa said agitated
