Is Michael Scott Ruining THE OFFICE? 

How in gods name can you even put such a blog question up. yes i know we ALL want to see more pam and jim, but we all need to realize that it WILL happen we jus dont know when. Its NBC, they are known for longing out relationships in the sitcoms. Hell look at friends it took like what 10 years fromt them to finally put Ross and Rachel together....

I believe that Michael Scott is going to play major roles in the joing of jim and pam as a couple. the office will be on for a while and i dont think that no one can/ will be able to ruin it! plain n' simple! Who thinks this blog is completly obsurd.......THIS GUY!!!

copy that stuartlittle...the only reason we hate michael so much is cuz we love the whole jim and pam subplot...its a classic love/hate relationship that i believe we all have with the office...

i do think micheal can be a little too much sometimes tho.

i love jim and pam, but they are not what make the office, the office. without michael (and dwight) it would be just another boring will-they-wont-they soap.

Ridiculous. The Office won an awars for something along the lines of best comedy ENSEMBLE or CAST. Not Best TV Couple. The thing is, the show is great because of every character on it- not just one, or two. Michael Scott is necessary to the show, everone is. EQUALLY. EXACTLY as they are.

Michael Scott IS The Office. Jim and Pam are just part of that.

The Office is a sitcom, not a romcom. The PJ relationship lends nothing to the Office, it is very tired. Nevertheless its one of the few consistent plot points which is pretty important in this format comedy for maintaining narrative. A necessary evil.

The whole office does rely on Michael. He has always been socially retarded, and it adds a huge part of humor the the show. Only occasionally do I find him to be too over the top, but that's usually after I've already seen an episode four times and I'm rewatching it. I'll always be a JAM fan, but comedy is necessary for the show to survive. and we ALL want it to survive!

Michael IS the Office! Without him, the show wouldn't have half of the hilarity that it does!!
