What is with this posting? It gets about 40 seconds into the show and then some options pop up labeled in Japanese or something. Can't seem to watch it after that, it goes to tudou.com and hangs.

VanHRH, I totally agree. I got weepy too :-)

I keep watching that scene over and over, because it's just so genuine and unexpected.

YES! Thanks so much for posting!
AHhh Michael's speech takes me back. David Brent from the UK show did a Motivational Speech too. Memories... Isn't Michael cool!
Go Jim! He rocks!!!

Did Pam at the art show remind anyone of Tina Majorino's character from Napoleon Dynamite?
posted 2 years ago.

LOL yes!! Especially with the side ponytail... and if anyone ever doubted Michael or why we should love him... the end of the episode made it so clear. That was the sweetest thing and it was just him being himself... definitely a favorite moment of mine.

Aw. Sometimes Michael is so sweet that it makes up for all his clueless insensitivity.

That was hands down the best "Michael does good" moment of the series. No pretense, no pretending, just genuine Michael. Excellent.

Thank you! I loved this episode and I have to say I loved how Michael brought his whole point around about the importance of paper at the end of the episode. It had a moral of sorts at the end of the episode which I loved.

Does anyone get why kelly acts weird about the art show? Are they trying to stress that she's shallow? Why didn't Jim go?
posted 2 years ago.

user photo
i don't think jim went because of the fact that pam is back with roy.

awesome. michael was classic after an almost-too-much-to-bear (although, almost being the key word here) episode. the whole episode was a classic, Ryan, Jim, Kelly, Michael, Dwight... everything in the world is right again. Apart from creepy Toby. What was with that?

Thanks buddyhollz4! You're a legend.

OMG, I cried with the whole Michael/Pam art show moment, and Jim and "whatzhername" seem so *dry, when they play pranks, granted it was a funny prank, but it would just go over so much better if it was Jim/Pam= JAM!

this was an amazing episode. the pam and jim thing does need to take more time (but i wish they would get together now!) but they will eventually. And i agree with the post two ahead...karen and jim's prank was hilarious....but it seemed almost awkward

Compared to the last episode, this didn't seem that funny. BUT it was still good. Michael is just a nice guy, kinda dumb, but so genuine. Jim and Karen pranks?.... Mehhh, no thank you.

Andy must have been on vacation. If you can't get the link to work (I couldn't), go to veoh.com and look it up. I was able to find it there by searching for videos of The Office posted in the past week.

By the way, that particular bat species has no place in Pennsylvania. Just the POV of a nerdy biologist. I'm really glad we didn't see bat murder cause I might have to stop watching the show.

Andy is undergoing Anger Management treatment - if you watch the extended episode at nbc.com, you see Andy at the end of The Return talking about his Anger Management classes...Unfortunately, if you didn't see that online part, you think Andy just sort of disappeared...awkward of The Office to do that, but I guess TV's not perfect!

The end of the show when Micheal arrives and brings it all together was very moving, I don't think the hug was scripted, and I know that those were real tears in Pam's eyes just like the ones I had watching it. It is so rare to have a show come along that moves the viewer from outright hysterics to tears in one commercial break. I am also so glad that that little shizer hound, former temp got stuck just where he deserves. I haven't trusted him since Ryan asked him if he wanted in on a prcitcal joke and he replied, "...yeah, I am interested ask me ten years ago", or something to that effect. The reason I though he was ok is because he occasionally looks aside to the camera, which gives him that dramatic irony appeal. Now his future is as bright and shiny as the back of Britney Spears head at the lunch table in Reahb.
