You reading this = Happy JH
Happy JH = a JH that won't rant at you much more.
Tracking Down Different Versions: We had our awesome A/V Club, but that got closed because no one was on it. So…you pretty much brought it on yourself. Anyway, believe it or not, the 1925, 1962, and 1990 movies are available on YouTube: here, here, and here. Also Leroux is online; I already posted the link. Look, that’s 4 versions online for FREE! Also, some of the more common versions aren’t that hard to track down if you know where to look. I got the 1943 version for $2.99 at Fleet Farm. And those things called libraries are still around. I managed to find Leroux, Kay (on inter-library loan), the 1943 movie, and Angel of the Opera for…wait for it…FREE, just by doing a simple “phantom of the opera” search on the computers.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is making a sequel to POTO,called Love never dies, and almost every artical that you see on Wickapeadia,ALW's website, etc, has something that phans don't like........... THE FACT THAT HE'S MAKING ONE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!! On Phantom message boards there is one about the sequel called"THEY ARE MAKING A SEQUEL TO POTO!" And you will find out why the story line, how the carracters will change (like one about Meg Giry being gothic), how Andrew Lloyd Webber is making the Giry's be on the bad side and want to kill Christene,( wich makes no sence at all, since the Giry's used to adore Christene), and how all of the above will make the musical crash and burn!!!!!!! While looking through the message boards you will see comments like," ALW should burn the whole score!" and, "I won't be suprised if Phantom goes off Brodway for this..."So if you want to learn more, you know where to go ( THEY ARE MAKING A SEQUEL TO PHOTO! Message boards.........)

I am SO unimpressed with the movie version deformity.

This is one of those reviews that you'll probably want to haul out the video and read along so you don't get lost. It will be random and disjointed. I'm just writing what I'm thinking as I think it. This is probably also going to offend....oh, well...just about everyone. This is my personal opinion. You are entitled to yours, I just may not take it too seriously if you cannot back up your reasoning. There are only so many things you can use "well I just like it/hate it" as an excuse. I've been a phan for a LONG time and I've studied the story fairly hardcore. I know EXACTLY why I have most of my opinions.
Ok, here we are at the Prolouge. So exactly WHICH Giry is that supposed to be? Better be Meg, otherwise I really want to know how Mme Giry looks so much better than Raoul when she's about 15-20 years older than him.
So I do kind of like the Prolouge being done in the black and white. It makes a very drastic change from the rather bleak and dreary 'present' to the more fanicifully remembered past.
