I think one of the reasons that some shows fail is that they get too complicated too fast. The Pretender did a great job of having the interwoven plot lines without being too complicated...Although to explain the interworkings of the Centre would take some work...(the Parker family tree...for example). Four seasons and two "movies" is not bad at all. I can't believe there was talk of resolving it after all this time...
