Vic Mackey was thrown into trash cans by his wife's bodyguard, who was he?

The bodyguard was massive, I remember he had a grizzly voice and was very sure of his ability. He simply picked Mackey up and threw him into the bins, took the wife away and drove off fast. The way in which this monster grabbed the steering wheel, with one clasp on his hand, was all telling to the way he viewed the world.

I thought Mackey was quite brave to confront him. Silly though.
