Okay, let's get right down to it: the Simpsons has been decreasing in quality lately - it's getting worse, folks. Do Simpsons fans expect too much, or is the show actually slipping?
Well, I honestly can't tell you, but what I do know is that a little pot-bellied, blonde-haired pig is here to save the day.
Plopper (better known as Spiderpig) will be returning for the show's nineteenth season - in at least one episode, anyway.
Lisa Simpson said 11 years ago, that adding a new character to a TV show is often an attempt to boost low ratings. The Simpson ratings aren't low- they just aren't where they were fifteen years ago. Is Plopper here to bring back some disappointed fans? I don't know, but I can't wait to find out.
