	Dominator picked 1987: ANSWER: The Simpsons started as 10 minute shorts on a tv show called The Tracey Ullman show. This was on the 19th April 1987. The Simpsons first started as a half an hour show on 17th December 1989. The episode was Simpsons Roasting on an open fire posted 1 year ago.
