I read the Time Traveler's Wife about two years ago and I absloutly loved it. The plot, style of writing and characters were amazing and I couldn't put the book down until I was finished, and then I read it again. So when I heard there was going to be a film I was sceptical. I don't think I've ever seen a screen adaptation that was up to par with the book (the only one that comes to mind is the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice). Before I read this book, I had never cried because of a book, and had never thrown a book. I cried for like thirty minutes, through pretty much the last two hundred pages. I was so upset, and had to stop reading for a minute. I am ashamed to say, when Henry was saying how he was going to die, I threw it across my living room.
