Is it just me or are the Vampire Diaries sometimes very unrealistic and dramatic? Per say... in the Nightfall, when they're being pricked by the trees.
And Elena having wings. Sure, we don't know WHAT she is, but still. Wings? That's ridiculous. She should have some spellcasting ability or something, but wings is just... ridiculous! (Sorry, L.J. Smith! I love your novels)
And am I the only one who didn't really follow the fight with Katherine and Elena and the whole Lapiz Lazuli scene?
I'm sorry if I sound stupid. It's just that some parts are very illiterate and some parts are hard to understand, as a lot of parts are overdramatic. It goes at a hyperspeed pace, and it's hard to follow.
I like that the characters are very conflicted, however, it's pretty cool. I also like the pain they go through, in the end always sharing a strong and devoted love for one another.

Here is my issue. It is clear that Stephan is destined to Elena, and I love Stephan, but don't you think we should give Damon some credit? He's been heartbroken so badly, that he has these walls built around himself, and he has no open heart. In the last book, he opened himself up, only to be beaten back down again, and don't you think that that is just a little sad? He CAN be good, and he IS good deep down. So is stephan, though, and my confusion is that Damon seems that he can only be happy with Elena, and she is only happy with Stephan. So what does this mean? Who should he be with? Who should Elena choose? No never mind, she is rightfully with stephan. I was just wondering what you guys thought of this whole contreversy
