Yeahhhhh>> I'm so happy to tell you people that it is yet come the time for another season of The View. Some of you may be wondering how the show still has the same ladies on it for yet another year but it is not surprising to the fans. We all know that the steady change of the ladies on The View were brought about by problems and steady controversies among the panel. Rosie O'Donnel had to go and so did Star Jones, as Barbara Walters once told CNN news, but it doesn't matter who goes or who stays, the show must go on. And what a daytime television show it is indeed for us all to watch. With just one hour to spare, we can catch up on what is hot in the news and listen to the ladies share their views on numerous "Hot Topics". It is wonderful yet to still have the same panel whom we have all become so familiar with for another season. To kick it off on Monday on the show, there were special appearances by The New Kids on the block group. Tuesday brought yet another fun hour with "Hot Topics" galore. There was a steady discussion about politics and debates and speeches and so on, it was fun to have The View again on weekdays for all to see.

I was reading a local news feed in my area and I saw that Joy Behar will be bringing her stand-up routine to Illinois. She will be performing at the Paramount Theater in Aurora, Illinois on September 20th.
I am pretty tempted to get tickets to go see her. I cannot remember ever seeing any of her stand-up routines, although I am sure some of the jokes that she repeats over and over are likely to pop up in the routine. While I think seeing her in person would be fun, I am not sure I can sit through her Salman Rushdie joke again or her tired Monica Lewinsky jokes. I know that she said that she is more outspoken in her routines that she can be on television, so that is what is encouraging me to consider the possibility, even though it is quite a bit of a drive for me to get to Aurora and the tickets are not exactly cheap.
Have any of you ever seen Joy’s stand-up, either in person or on video/television/internet? I wonder what View jokes she makes? I doubt anything criticizing current hosts, but she probably has some Star Jones material and maybe some Rosie O’Donnell jokes as well.

Again today it was just the four hosts, with Barbara Walters absent. The first topic was how humid it is in NYC. Sherri Shepherd said that NYC is the only place where with the humidity you wake up wet. Whoopi said, “If you are lucky.”
Then Whoopi said that that they received a letter from a spokesperson from the Barack Obama campaign that the allegation that Obama allowed his prayer to be published was completely false. They didn’t discuss it and left it at that.
There is a new McCain ad about how Obama is a celebrity, which features Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. Whoopi thinks is it a little bit offensive because Paris Hilton has been in jail and the drunk tank and Britney had some mental illness. She said if he wants to compare him to a big celebrity, they should have chosen Will Smith or George Clooney. Elisabeth thinks the ad is successful because we are talking about it. Elisabeth said you learn from it that Obama will increase taxes. She added that Obama was on Access Hollywood. Whoopi said that is not the point. Elisabeth said to let her finish. She said he is on People Magazine next to Lindsay Lohan.
