Tobias is one of the UK's most talented young actors, particularly excelling at the classics but also at ease in comedy. He is a truly gifted actor who brings skill and subtlety to every role he plays.
He has given wonderful performances in a number of productions including A Very Social Secretary, The History Boys, The Low Down, and Three Sisters. Recently he took on the role of Marcus Junius Brutus in the HBO/BBC series Rome. He is a well respected theatre actor and his Hamlet in 2005 was a particular highlight.
His performance as Brutus has brought him excellent reviews and he's gained many new fans through the series. They admire his brilliant interpretation of the role and his striking looks haven't gone unnoticed either. Who can forget that beautiful river scene!
Tobias recently played William Elliot in ITV's adaptation of Persuasion and proved to be very charismatic in the role. He also appeared at the Crucible Theatre in Jonathan Miller's acclaimed version of The Cherry Orchard. His next appearance is a leading role in Channel 4's Relief of Belsen which will air later in the year.His next theatre appearance will be in Cloud Nine at the Almeida Theatre from 25 Oct - 8 Dec 2007.
