After watching the series I came across this fanfiction and thought the extra depth it created in Vash and Knives's arguement was perfect. Trigun (トライガン, Toraigan?) is a sci-fi manga series with a space western theme created by Yasuhiro Nightow in 1995, and adapted into a 26 episode anime series in 1998 by Madhouse. It is the story of Vash the Stampede, a.k.a.
