Yes, these are very good books. I really liked the first one. I started reading the second one, but I am waiting to contiue to read it till I have more time. When I start reading them I don't want to put them down. The books are in first person perspective, through of course Sookie's eyes. There is a lot of things that the show has added to the books, but if you are a fan of the overall story arc and the relationship between Sam and Sookie and Bill and Sookie you will love the book.

hell yes you should read everyone in the series. I've read one a day for the past 2 weeks & am waiting to read her latest book that came out in May. The series doesn't follow the books 100% but both are very good.

I do not like to read can't concentrate, but since seeing aeason 1 I have been going to the library checking out the books & can't get enough. In less than 2 weeks I have read about 4 of the paperbacks.....

The books are amazing truly are and they are easy to read and so exciting and all the "love" scenes are so much more fun in your imagination lmao and i was surprised how much the dude playing eric looks like the Eric i dreamed up xD
