I heard Alice's light footsteps, dancing across the floor, she hummed a song I didn't know towards the door. I tried coax Ashes out of the carrier with no prevail, though I did get scratched twice from her. I shut the door to her carrier earning another loud hiss from her, but no scraches, thankfully. I heard Alice talking to someone but I didn't notice. I was looking around the room. The footsteps grew louder, two pairs. The guest at the door was invited in. My dad always though I was odd that I could hear so well. I paid no attention to them. I clutched my hand to my chest.
I heard a light tap on my open door. I turned to see Alice there with a man behind her. Blonde hair, blue eyes, and well dressed. "Bella? This is my boyfriend Jasper that I was telling you about earlier. Jasper this is my new room-mate Bella Swan." "Nice to meet you Bella." He said his voice dripping in a southern accent. "Nice to meet you too Jasper." He looked at Alice. "Me and your brother have to be at pratice tonight and tomorrow, since we have a game tomorrow." Game? Alice followed Jasper out,and I could hear them kissing outside the door. It didn't bother me in the slightest. Alice came back in, dancing. "He plays football, and so does my brothers." She shuddered silently. Hmmm... I wonder why? But I could probably guess. She didn't like one or both of her brothers. I let Ashes out as soon as she stopped hissing. I pulled out two bowls and a bag of cat food. I filled one with the dried food, and put both bowls on its iron stand. I got my water bottle and poured its water into the other bowl. "Do you want to go get omething to eat? You can meet Jasper, his siter, and one of my brother. Before you ask, trust me you don't want to meet the other one, he's trouble." "Sure. Let me get my jacket." I slipped into my jacket and turned off the light and followed her towards the door. I looked in the room, which was appearently the living room, wich opened into an open kitchen, very modern. Alice rejoined me after getting her coat. I took nothing with me but my ID. My father owned many stores, and I could get ANYTHING as long as they saw my ID. "If you want I can pay." Well kindof pay. "No, I don't want you loosing all your money, Emmett, my brother, eats like a monster! Both him and Jasper are going to be eating like crazy because of the extra football pratice." "It's fine really. we just have to go to the right place. Where did you say we were meeting them?" "At this sports place, it's called CALI SPORTS." Even better, my dad owned that place. "That's a relief, I'll pay, still." "Okay whatever you say." We walked out the dorm building, into this on campus mall. And headed towards the place. Outside stood Jasper talking to a enormous man, which I assumed was Emmett. And a blonde, who looked related to Jasper, but also looks like Emmett's girlfriend, by the way they were holding each other. "Hey guys. This is my new room-mate Bella. Bella this is Emmett, my brother, and his girlfriend Rosalie, Rose for short." She introduced them, proving my guess correct. "This one's on me guys. I'll pay for everything." Emmett laughed and cracked his knuckeles, Rose hit him over the head, and Jasper shook his head sadly as he walked towards Alice. "Your probably going to go broke." Jasper mumured. "Trust me even if I paid it in money, he's not going to make me go broke for a long, long time." I laughed and followed. I pulled my ID out and showed our waiter it. Poor thing almost hyperventilated. She led us to a good booth, with a football game on, with a split screen playing a baseball game. "What did you do?" Alice asked amazed. "I'll tell you later, after I prove Emmett wrong." We ordered two baskets of breadsticks, the men being gentlemen let us have the first breaadsticks. Not very poiltly we shoved them into our mouths. After the bread touched our lips the guys dug in. The waiter seemed wary to come over. I glared at the waiter until she came over. "Are we ready to take drink orders and food orders Ms. Swan?" "Yes we are. Emmett?" Of course Emmett got the bigest ribs, nachos, 3 hamburgers,2 sloppy joes, and onion rings. Rosalie got a salad, Alice and Jasper got some nacos, and I got a hamburger. It didn't bother me that Emmett got all that food. But it sure worried Alice, She was bitting her lip the entire time. "Alice, if I were to explain to you why I got this would you stop chewing your lip off?" She nodded. "My father, Charlie Swan owns MANY places, including this place, he's a multi-billionaire. Since he owns, alot of places. I can go in, show them my ID and get anything I want for free." Everyone's jaws were opens. I rolled my eyes. "You might want to close your mouths before a fly gets in them." "Yopu mean, that you father owns half this mall!"Alice shrieked hopefull. "Yup, I can get you guys a shopping spree totaly free of charge to you." Rose and ALice praticaly fainted, and Emmett and Jasper groaned. Which probably meant they held all the bags. |
