OKAY! So I don't really know how to start. We, that is, Arielle and Kendal, believe that, for one thing, Robert Pattison is ugly. (sorry die hard rob fans) Also most of the characters were poorly portrayed, such as Mike, Angela, Jessica, Tyler, and Eric. Lauren wasn't even in the movie. Forks was supposed to be a small school, made up of small, house-like buildings. Alice was friendly, but not bubbly and outgoing as she was in the book. The field trip threw us off, and they left out how Bella fainted in Biology because of the blood. Most of the vampire, especially jasper, looked like they were on some sort of illegal substance. The werewolves all looked like hobos. They never mentioned Jasper's extra talent (dirty, hehe)and they never said anything about Carlisle's past, which is a major part of the entire series. Edward was not calm and collected as he was in the book, instead he was nervous and always stuttering. They cut out the whole meadow scene, which started the book in the first place. The major kissing scene with the unattractive underwear was awkward at best. They stared blankly at each other for 27 seconds before closing the gap. And Bella, in the movie, knew she was going to prom. In the book, she would have thrown a bitch fit. The dialogue was strange, and didn't flow smoothly. During most of the "romantic" scenes we bursted out laughing even worse than the rest because it was so cheesy. Seriously, the people behind us were annoyed because we were laughing so hard, they even resorted to kicking Kendal's chair. Where are people's manners, may I ask you? Then, the funniest part of all, was when James tried to suffocate Edward. What is the point, I ask you. Neither of them need to breathe! Bloody hell they're vampires. They're dead. Honestly, grab them where it hurts! (wink wink, nudge nudge, giggle giggle, hee hee, cough cough, heh heh, sigh.....) (we've been saying that for two years, yes, we're odd ones) Rosalie and jasper were refered to as the cullens, when they were supposebly the hales. got some weird incest thing going on there. There was hardly anything about Jake (not that I mind too much) Then, in the hospital, Bella's heart rate should have gone flying when Edward kissed her, but no, she was as cool as a kangaroo in antarctica.

Anyway, I agree that the movie sucked, but for mostly different reasons. Of course there would be changes, combining the roles of Jessica and Lauren for one.
Seriously bad writing.
I do have to say that I agree with several parts of the article.
Such as:
-The meadow scene wasn't as significant in the movie as it was in the book.
-The kissing scene wasn't as romantic as expected.
-The 'James trying to suffocate Edward' thing. That was pretty pointless, considering the fact that they don't breath.
But other than those minor details, I think they keep as faithful to the book as possible.
It is very hard to make a book-movie adaption, but I believe that it was a fantastic effort. And the movie rocked !
Can't wait for New Moon !!!

What do you want to know more about?
Or well, at least, the principal characters SUCKED! I did not liked them!!! They where the worst in my opinion!!look: Emmet was as smiling as always, Esme had that sweet mother-like face, Carlile (I rally liked him), and Charlie -even when the lines in the movie where not on the book. I think he made a great job interpreting his character... BUT Edward and Bella.... Bella looked like a b*tch and Edward, like an ice, even when he was suposed to change because of his love for Bella. And the dialogues SUCKED!!
yes the book is way better but the movie doesn't suck. not at all
