Isabella "Bella" Swan moves from sunny Phoenix, Arizona, to rainy Forks, Washington, to live with her father, Charlie. She chooses to do this so that her mother, Renée, can travel with her new husband, Phil Dwyer, who is a minor league baseball player. Bella attracts much attention at her new school and is quickly befriended by several students. Much to her dismay, several boys in the school compete for shy Bella's attention.
When Bella sits next to Edward Cullen in class on her first day of school, Edward seems utterly repulsed by her. However, over the next few days Edward warms up to her, and their newfound relationship reaches a climax when Bella is almost run over by a fellow classmate's van in the school parking lot. Seemingly defying the laws of reality, Edward saves her life by stopping the van with his bare hands.
Bella then becomes hellbent on figuring out how Edward saved her life, and pesters him with questions constantly. TwilightBlog: Have you read New Moon? If so, what do you think about it?
Charlie Bewley: Yes. But being totally distractible, I'm a useless reader. However this one I just sailed thru, especially from page 453 onwards...
What's great about New Moon is the author's style delicately protracts the plot to reveal all the stakes for each character involved. This gives impact at major turns of events and also allows actors a much easier job of playing the characters truthfully and to the readers expectations.
Full credit to Stephenie for her intrinsic knowledge of human emotional interplay. Fairly genius on her part.
TB: What are you looking forward to the most about playing your character, Demetri?
CB: Demetri is a Jesus amongst guards...
He has unparalleled tracking abilities together with insane strength, speed and classiness; lives in Tuscany, underground; hangs out with the beautiful Heidi who brings him food all the time; he has red irises and glitters in the sunlight... It's hard, therefore, to see what's not to like about playing this legend.

The Dark Side
Welcome to the dark side, Edward Cullen. errr...Robert Pattinson. Twilighters, be prepared to see a dark side to the once love able and sexy Edward Cullen in the upcoming New Moon. Rob in a recent interview says that he gets "to do some really creepy stuff" in the movie, so watch out!
Just like the book, the movie New Moon will be a lot darker and portray an almost totally different side to the relationship between vampires and vampires to humans. Rob also said that: "I think that a lot of people will be kind of scared by this one." Oh, uh. What does he mean by scared? Is the once coveted Edward going to be dropped for like Emmett, Jasper, or Carlisle due to the image that will be portrayed? Or will girls still swoon over what ever Edward becomes?
Robert believes he has succeeded in making his character "scary" in the new film. This is something Rob sees that he failed to do in the first film according to his interview with Fandango. In New Moon Bella Swan will be mired in a "mixture of memories and nightmares" and suffering from bizarre hallucinations in New Moon. This will actually make the movie...
