What do you think of Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black?

I think Taylor Lautner is really cute and is perfect for when Jake is young. I hope he gets REALLLY tall, too, though.

I think they did a really good job and I love jacob black so am am extremely pleased they picked him cuz he aint bad looking at all

I really want to give my support to the cast but I'm obsessed with Steven Strait and Jacob and having Steven play Jacob would've been so brilliant.

I don't really like jacob that much, especially in the third book, but personally I think that with Taylor I can see what Bella might see in new moon and so on...

I LOVE how Taylor looks! I look at him and go "There's MY Jacob!" He's perfect in my eyes. The adorable smile and yet strangly attracktive for a little kid look to him. I just love him! He makes my love for Jake grow!

I believe he looks too young. And if or when they use him for the next movie its looks so weird because Kristen looks so much older than him, it wont look right. I know that in the book he is younger then bella but not THAT Much. But idk maybe his acting will make up for his baby face

He looks too surfer dude-ish. Steven Strait was definitely the best pick, even tho, like "Cowgirlfromhell" said, I really want to give my whole hearted support the the cast. I try to keep in mind that they could have done a whole lot worse.

I think he is perfect for "Twilight" Jacob. The only problem i have with him is that if another movie is made he will not be tall enough because Jacob is supposed to be taller than Edward.

I think that he's just amazing! Perfect for the part! But really, not all Native Americans have long hair, which is why I don't understand why they're giving him a wig! It wasn't in the book!

When I read the book,all I see was Steven in this role.I have no idea how they think that Taylor can pull it off.

I'm really not sure about this pick. He's cute and all, but how are they going to make him look taller and older and more muscular. Plus I had imagined Jacob as being a lot rougher looking. I don't know I am going to reserve judgment until I see the movie.

Taylor would be great for Jacob. I just don't like that he has to have long hair in the movie. It makes him look sort of weird. The picture that person used for Taylor isn't accurate. He's a lot bigger, so don't say that he's too young or something like that, because he's not. He's like 16 or something though.

Well in some ways I think he does and in others I dont. He looks a bit young. Even though I know he is suppose to, at the beginning. But further in the book his suppose to look older and I think that might be hard.

It's fine....... just that when i look at Bella's face I think he looks too young in the movie, even if he is suppose to look young it shouldn't be THAT young... and i was really wishing Steven Strait would play as Jacob because when Strait played Warren Peace, he was awesome, and I imagined that Peace looks similar to Jacob. Tall, big, muscular, hot, long black hair.... :3

I think it's funny that people are commenting that "He looks 10 years old", because in this picture, he probably is. And LeytonnLOVER, yes, Bella is 17, but Jacob is [newly] 15 in Twilight. Taylor Lautner is currently 16; he'll be 17 in February '09.

Talor as jacob was most likely the best out of the moive! He was pefect cause he has a naturl blood line of alittle indian in him like the real American indian not the ones from india! LOL

So its really cool and he just really did good with the young Jacob!!! Like the La push scence he is spouse to be oblivious and go along with Bella's pretend flirting and he did great with that!!!!!! and even though he had such a small role in Twilight he might have (idf he dose new moon!) a bigger role in nw Moon cause that is Jacob's hufe breakthrough!!!!
