Harry Potter's an epic fantasy story, and Twilight's a vampire/werewolf romance. They are not really that comparable. Personally, I love both, but in different ways because they are different.

Harry Potter is good in some ways, but Twilight is so much better. It is hard to compare them because they are both too different. But I've never got in to Harry Potter as much as I am obsessed with Twilight.

Omgshh! me! i never even liked Harry potter from the start, too tell the truth, it's kinda gay lol. And the only movie I liked was the one with Robert Pattinson in it, and thats because the hotness factor took over. Twilight is wayyyyyyyyyyyy WAY better than Harry Potter.

Well im from australia and many people i know in south australia anyway love the twilight books including me.. they are amazing and the movie was soo good and i can't wait for new moon. i mean i was a semi harry potter fan before twilight came along but once it did i moved on from harry to twilight and it will reamin that way foreva. and i don't know what survey ur talking about but im betting its bull!

Twilight is good, i'm a fan. But I still think Harry Potter is a bit better.

Well, I'm Australian and I like Twilight but I have also read Harry Potter. I think that maybe more people read Harry Potter but more people WATCH Twilight... then again surveys aren't always accurate. A majority of my friends have read Twilight and enjoy. I don't think you should hold it against us aussies. We love Twilight just as much as the rest of the world XD

btw. I understand that your an angry fan but people are allowed to have their own opinions. I'm sure there are other Twi-haters in the world than just Australians

Im from australia and i totally agree with HP is better but i also like Twilight, but HP is truly my number 1
I think Australia is more a country that dosnt get obsessed with things such as this, even the TwiHards i know some said HP was better, most people just said they were both gay but they prefer harry potter over twilight anyway.
But i soo agree HP id better than Twilight.

Harry Potter is waaay better than twilight because harry potter has more depth to it, more fantasy, the author thinks more about what she is going to write, the acting and the reality of it. I do like Twilight and have read the books and also the movie. Just to add up I have read harry more than twilight.

Okay, I don't think Twilight sucks. But neither does Harry Potter. Harry Potter is better than Twilight, it doesn't suck, and if you've actually read the books or even watched the movies, Harry Potter has had vampires in the first book/movie, and werewolves starting in the third book, both of which were around before Twilight was. Harry Potter should not move over, it is a classic, and is better than Twilight. Plus, to all of you who think Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was the best movie because of Robert Pattinson, he was way hotter in there than he is in Twilight, and they need to replace him in Twilight because Edward is supposed to be sexy and gorgeous. Harry Potter Rocks.

No, Harry Potter should not move over, and will never move over. The Harry Potter fanbase will outlive the Twilight fanbase by a long shot, and Harry Potter is much more respected and J.K Rowling is an extremely talented author. As others have said, it will be a classic.

I love Twilight, I really do. And I'm sorry, but I think that it's not really even that good. I mean, I love it, but... Meanwhile, Harry Potter... Harry Potter should never move aside for Twilight because Harry Potter DOES NOT SUCK. I never want to hear anyone say that HP sucks. EVER.

I'm an Aussie and a Twilighter :) but i love Harry Potter more <3 it was the original phenomonon and will stay that way forever i think.. i got heaps of my friends on to Twilight but i know there are those out there that don't like it... but it just comes down to peoples opinions... Twilight doesn't suck, and if everyone hated Twilight then why would New Moon be coming out on the 19th?? lol i'll be lining up <3

you really can't say that Harry potter sucks! it is a fantastic series of book.Even though i do like twilight more you really can't compare the two series because they have completely different good storylines! This debate over which book is better is silly seeing as they have nothing in common!

I loved Harry Potter when I was about 8-12 yrs old and have love Twilight even more after i read the books (about 12yrs old) and I think I love Twilight more than i love Harry Potter, But, maybe it is just that HP and Twilight are directed to diffrent ages. It goes from friendship and family bonds to romance (do you think a 9yr old would understand that??)

Twilight can be awesome and is popular. Harry Potter can be awesome and is popular. That's really the bottom line.

I just never understood the foolish war between these two books. I mean hey, if you like Twilight better, you like HP better, or you like both at the same amount, then okay. No big deal.
