Rob´s Interview (Brazilian Magazine)

*How´s your life in LA? Rob: I always come here for work and i even like being alone here. In general i stay here for three months. This time, since i´m here for longer than that, i miss the London´s streets. *How was your audition? Rob: They look for me in London and, after that, i sent a tape. The audition happened in the director´s house (Catherine Hardwicke). Me and Kristen made a love scene. When i got there i was nervous and a little intimidated by Kristen´s intensity. In the end, we had an immediate connection. *Do you have anything in common with Edward? Rob: A little of the personality. Like me, he takes seriously what he feels and he seems a little lunatic. (laughs) * What did you think about the fans that didnt approve you to be Edward? Rob: The daughter of my mother´s friend is crazy about the books. When i told her that i would be doing Twilight, she was infuriated with me. We met again and she still has that disappointment look on her face. (laughs) *What are you thinking about the fans that approach you? (this question is asking about the crazy fans, but with other words that i´m not being able to make sense right know!! lol) Rob: I had an experience from when i made Harry Potter, and we shot in a school, and the students went crazy. I´m surprised by the reaction of the fans, but i know that the noise is for Edward and not for me! *Has any fan ever stalked you? Rob: Some girls camped in front of my apartment. On the first day, they left a note in my car. One of them, when she met me, said: "I´m normal, talk to me, call me". On the other day, she came and said: "Please, dont ignore me, or i´ll kill myself, but i´m normal". (laughs) *Would you hook up with a fan? Rob: That depends, i dont have any rule. Maybe. (laughs) *Have you ever had a great love like Edward and Bella? Rob: Yes, but this intense. *Have you ever done anything crazy for love? Rob: Hum, no! I´m really boring! *How´s it to see Never Think, the song you wrote, on the movie soundtrack? Rob: I made the song last year. Catherine listened to it and decided to put on the movie. I thought it was strange, but it made to first place in iTunes. *How did you prepare yourself to play Edward? Rob: I read and worked my body language. *I heard you say that you hate working out? Rob: It´s true. In the beginning, it was hard, but i´ve never been in better shape than now. I was doing two and a half hours of boxing per day. *Kristen told me that you dont change your clothes. Is that true? Rob: (laughs) I believe that, at least, my shirt is clean. Not even i understand this side of me. I have a few clothes that i like and, as i´m always traveling, i end up wearing the same thing a many times. Why am i telling you this?! (laughs) *Do you have any other work planned? Rob: Probably, i´ll do something really different by January. But i need to keep my schedule open for the other movies of this series. *Did you leave any girl waiting for you in England? Rob: I´m alone. I dont think there´s anyone waiting for me there. Not that i recall. (laughs) *What is your type of girl? Rob: I´m always changing my mind, but i like strong girls, with a little of a dark side. I dont know, i used to like problematic girls, but i´m changing. *What do you do with your hair so it stays that way? Rob: My hair?(surprised, fixes his hair) Wow, people talk about my hair! My dad tells me that i never liked to brush my hair when i was a child! *Which famous Hollywood girl would you take to a deserted island? Rob: Gisele! I think Gisele Bundchen is beautiful. *On the last book of the series, Edward and Bella go to Brazil, what do you know about our country? Rob: I get a lot of letters from Brazil. It´s so weird. Since i starred in Harry Potter, i get more brazilian letters than british. And in english! THey say that Brazil is beautiful, who knows someday? Hope you liked it!!!
