before i read the twilight series, harry potter was my favorite. but i was really upset that she killed off snape, too. AND lupin, AND tonks. real life is depressing enough. when i read a story, i want it to put me in a good mood, atleast the ending of the story. not depress me.
i do appreciate how s.m. is making them wait til they're married, but it bugged me a little that she made it for religious reasons, that religion is in the stories at all. i'm agnostic. i try very hard to respect other people's views, and it's her stories, but i just don't like religion.
i don't mean to offend anyone or turn this into a religious debate, just stating my opinions.
oh, and i can't wait to see the movie, but i watched the preview, and it looks a little to me. hope i'm wrong. movies are rarely as good as the books though.
SM does not push her views, I think she she great, the story is a good one, and I think she is a great infulance, JK has never gotten people to read the classics, and SM had done just that. I think It is wonderfull that she has had the curage to have them wait to have sex, i think it is great
sorry if this was already posted here, but i just read on another site that jacob is probably going to imprint on another girl because stephanie meyer said before that a midsummer night's dream is one of the books that inspired breaking dawn and jacob could be demetrius, who i guess falls in love with a girl because of some fairy spell. i never read a midsummer night's dream, but that theory sounds good to me! i have a hunch it will be angela he imprints on. atleast that's what i hope happens.
so, does ANYBODY have any more good, solid spoilers? links? i know it's just a week away, but i'm very inpatient, as i said before. i really don't understand why people make such a big deal about stopping spoiler leaks. even if i knew exactly what happened, i would still be there at midnight next friday to buy the book, and i'm sure most of the other fans are the same way, so it's not like they're going to loose any money.
I think the reason they don't want spoilers isn't cause of losing money, it's because a LOT of fans DON'T want to know anything and might stumble upon something by accident. I don't even believe most of the stuff I read on here and assume the "spoilers" are just theories or rumors or hoaxes. It's still fun to think "oooh, I wonder."
And I agree, I'm excited about the movie, but it definitely seems uber cheesy.

This is what I think will happen..
In BD, it says Jake is in Canada. (close to Alaska) Also, SM has said that we will see the Denali coven in BD (look at the quotes from BD on her site, one was Tanya talking, who is a part of the Denali coven) I think Jake meets them at some point and imprints on Tanya or another one of the vampires in Alaska. As for book 5, (not Midnight Sun, thats 1.5 lol) Stephenie Meyer already said after BD Bella and Edward's story is pretty much wrapped up. They will be characters in it, but it wont be from Bella's POV. Im guessing it will be from a wolf, or who knows what. Also, I think Charlie figures out at some point about the vampires. On SM's site, he quotes "Bell's, were up to bat." The only other time SM ever had baseball was with the Cullens. If Charlie were to play with them, he would notice there "abilities" and this gives me the idea that he A) found out or B) Someone told him about the Cullens being vampires. WHo else thinks there will be a battle of some sort? ANd Bella has to be changed quickly or else she dies?
but book 5 (not midnight sun lol) if its happenin is not gonna be from bella or edwards point of view so charlie will be irrelavent! apparently its gonna be from alice and jaspers point of view, hopefully :D

Stephenie meyer said that it ended the way the readers always wanted it to end.That means(in my mind) from twilight. We really hadn't met Jake till New Moon...so it will be edward.
Plus she will loose lots of fans if she kills edward or jake so I think their both safe
