I think it would be wrong for her to change - isn't the all point that she doesn't conform? But then again it does make a good ending, yet if it happens it looses the point.

Well, in other countries where they adapted the same concept, "Betty" did eventually get pretty. Not until the very end of the show though.

She already is beautiful in her unique way whether its her unqiue colors or her personalaity. While I see her losing the braces eventaully,there is no need for total makeover like the other "Bettys" around the world. And I think it's a very shallow thing to ask such a question, since your disregarding one of the many powerful messages of the show.

She's already beautiful! Her braces will have to go sometime (*sigh*), but her glasses are iconic!
