No, it is not the last book. There is:
Vampire Academy, Frostbite, Shadow Kiss, Blood Promise, Spirit Bound then another that is untitled
then richelle mead is doing another six in Vampire Academy from a diff character's POV

I have talked to Richelle Mead and there will be six books.Spiritbound comes out May 18,2010, and the sxth book comoes out in late 2010.

yes there are going to be two more boks after this. the fifth book is called spirit bound and there's gonna be a sixth that doesnt have a name yet. those are the last two books.
