I really like the different mythologies concerning vampires from Brom Staker's Dracula's mytho.

Buffy/Angel versions of vampires the concepts of one's soul, good vs evil, humanity and morality, no rules: like they dont have to worry about cash if they want it they take it and how spike had to learn this in s4 onwards.

Cirque Du Freak vampires: that was new, well for me anyways when i first read it lolz. (similar but different to the Moonlight vampires: as some can walk in daylight but it still can kill them over time)

Underworld: i totally love it! How its a virus not a curse like other vampire mythos, ages old war between vampires-werewolves totally cool! LOVE IT!!

Twiligh: meh, they just get sparkles stuck in their eye! Vampire wannabees, vamps dont sparkle...

I think vampires are dead. Kuput. But with dark mystical or virus making them vampires: how to become a vampire? they bite you suck your blood and you feed off them, though in underworld all i did see all what it takes to infect someone is to bite them and the virus-vampire strain (or werewolf) works it way through your system you either become a vampire/or werewolf (depending on what species bit you) or you die. (ok sounds like twilights way of turning a human-to-vampire.

Pretty much everything else except for the sparkling vampires and total invurability thats with little or no weaknesses thats seems unrealistic to me.

CIRQUE DU FREAK <3, The books not the movie, Umm....and my least fav would be twilight. uughgh If those are even vampires, there mor elike retarded faries I HATE TWILIGHT!!

Umm right know its The Vampire Diaries, Then The Twilight Saga New Moon (I love the books but the books don't show the wolf pack with know shirts) Umm...The Night World series there mostly vampires but there also werewolves and witches but most is vampires.

My first vampire book love was twilight, but when I read/watched all the stuff listed above I realised it wasn't as good as I thought it was...and then the movie was totally messed up, but i'm hoping the second one will be better =D

Any other suggestions? I'm running out of series to read? :P
