I personally think that vampires could produce children, but from speaking with others who disagree and sort of seeing the reason myself, I think it has to due with the fact that vampires are, in a way, dead, and therefore their organs no longer work. A woman's uterus is an organ.

But of course they don't need to be able to. Their kind reproduces by turning a person into a vampire so there really is no reason for them to have children. Humans have children because it is the only way for their kind to reproduce. But vampires have a different way since they are undead. |

yeah, the whole dead sperm and eggs and no erections, and there's also a lot of issues about a pregnant vampre, being pregnant requires a lor of blood and growwing tissue, it would be way to confusing.
