Actually I don't cash in on 'Van's name' - if i was going to cash in on someone's name, there are more charismatic name's to choose from than his.I perform what people ask me to perform and I perform van because I love his music myself - I admire his work immensely. Trust me, it's not an easy sell , I have to work hard to keep it going. I also perform my own music and people love that just as much as Van's or Roy's or any of the other legends I portray. It doesn't sound like Van either. If Brad pitt was asked to play the part of Errol Flynn in a movie would you accuse him of cashing in on Errol? I am just an actor like in a movie.

I think Van-tastic is doing a good job. Anything that exposes people the Van's music. Tribute bands are fun. What you don't want to become is the warm-up act for a tribute band. It's like being a 50 year old boxer.
