its stories that people write for example they write stories about their favorite tv series etc if different decisions were made how it would be different and if the show ended they can continue it by writing their own stories.
i read some of the stories written about veronica mars it was awesome some stories continued from season 3 and some were on how if certain things changed how it would impact the story. some are long but its worth it.
