Gamer in need of advice

There is a game called "Fable 2" which comes out near the end of this year. The game is coming out on the Xbox 360 and the PC. Problem is, I don't have an Xbox 360, nor a powerful computer. I can't decide which I should do: buy a 360 or buy a PC.

And yes, there is a third option: just don't get it. But I have been waiting years for this game. I'm sure that this game will be worth buying because I have the prequel and I still play it even though I got it roughly 3 years ago

I have about £900 (maximum) to spend, I'm not sure how much that is in dollars, but I think a £ is worth double the amount of a $.

Seeing as Fable 2 is as new as a game can be, (not even out yet :P) I'd need quite a powerful computer to run it, so I'd probably be spending more money if I bought a new computer, but my current PC is about due for replacement anyway.

I'm also worried that the PC won't be able to do the online modes that are on the 360, but I'm not sure, seeing as the game is made by Microsoft it is probable the PC will have online stuff.

In the first Fable, there was a "create your own tattoo for your character" feature which requires MS Paint, Photoshop or some other programme that does the same thing. The PC version would also allow me to upload screenshots to the internet and possibly modify the game files (as was possible with the first game).

So there's my rather annoying problem. Would appreciate it if I could get opinions from other gamers :)

If you really felt the need to choose between the two, I'd go for the PC. I think that Microsoft is going to try to make the experience of all its games as close as possible to the same on the 360 console as on PC, so it should definitely have the online modes (particularly if you have a Vista PC capable of Games for Windows). Depending on the age of your PC, you could also upgrade just the necessary bits of your existing machine, rather than replacing the whole box (memory, graphics card, processor if necessary). If there will be any differences between console and PC (aside from controls), they should favor the PC, since the 360 is already old in terms of graphics and sound hardware.

Finally, I'm also a games collector, so part of my reasoning (I must admit) is that I'd encourage you to wait on getting the 360 until after the price drops, both for the console and for the titles.
