Fanboys. Don't you just hate 'em?

Now, where should I start... Okay. Fanboys are the most fat-headed, ignorant people you could EVER meet. If you don't know who or what a fanboy is then the picture above this article SHOULD give you a clue.

ARGUMENTS Anyway, let's start with reasons as to why they argue so much. Not to be confused with just a regular fan, the fanboy is the type of person to only have a desire for one certain game console/company and hate the rest for VERY unrelated reasons.
Example: Nintendo fanboys hate the PS3 because they think it's overpriced, while PS3 fanboys hate the Wii because they think it doesn't have any games that appeal to hardcore audiences.
As you can read, fanboys only focus on the positive reason for defending their favorite game console while completely ignoring the negatives. Instead they tend to fight back at fanboys on their opposite side with reasons as to why they hate the other's favorite. This may sound confusing at first, but it's VERY simple to understand why fanboys are like this.

Unfortunately, this is all I can come up with about why fanboys are so thick-headed and why you should never be one. Thank you for reading and have a nice day. :)

I know what you mean. Most fanboy's defend their console when deep down its because they regret buying it over the other one.

Yeah, it really gets annoying. I especially ha- "ahem" strongly dislike Nintendo fanboys because they always try to act smart when it comes to arguing over which console is actually winning. This just makes me wonder why we all can't just get along. You know, as one big, happy family.

Like Rooky said, definitely buyer's regret. Also, some of them may be like that due to a love for the old ways of that company or video game series. I'll admit that I was a bit of Wii fan-boy in the early days of owning one because I was such a fan of Nintendo themselves, or what they used to be, to an extent. I was in sort of a state of denial, I kept trying to convince myself "I'm just not seeing the great bit of this game yet, I'm sure I'm just not looking at it in the right way", but deep down I knew that the Wii was a console I was not happy with, and that the GameCube gave me a lot more fun.

Good article :)

Thanks! This was the first article that I have ever written, actually. And I'm glad that it turned out well. I just had to get what I think about fanboys out of my chest.

I agree. You have to wonder why people argue over this kind of garbage just because they have different consoles. While I do personally like Sony's PS3 the best out of the next-gen consoles, I only support it so much because I have the reasons and true opinions why to like it over the others, rather than just getting it because I like the company. I picked the PS3 overall because I just personally think it's the better console.

Very nice article :)
