As the title says, this article is all about game reviews. Now, there are many different types of ways to review a game, and even more games to actually review. Whether if it's using a standard 1-10/1-5 star scale, or just by rambling on how much that certain game rules or drools (sorry, but I just HAD to that phrase). Everyone has their own opinion on certain video games.
But not everyone can agree on whether a game is good or bad. Like I said before, every gamer has their own opinion on a game they love or hate. This makes it difficult for us to decide on what games to buy or rent. For example: the Halo franchise is one the most best-selling of all time. To most people, it rocks their heads off. To others (including me), it's one of the most overrated franchises in video game history. ANOTHER example is...

If you have a PS3, play inFamous when it comes out, and don't enjoy it, I'll give ya a million bucks!

My friend, Frank, has a 360. I go over to his house sometimes to game with him, and I became extremely interested in getting my own. When I researched the console online I became even more convinced this was the console to get. But one tiny, little thing completely disintegrated all of my thoughts of getting a 360- the still un-released game, inFamous. This game had me amazed and since it was a PS3 exclusive and was produced by my favorite studio, I decided to get a PS3 instead. And I am sooooooo glad that I did.
First off, simply unboxing this beautifully designed console was a marvelous experience. It was easy to get it out of the box and it wasn't covered in stupid plastic stuff and the like. You simply pull it out, set it on a counter, and appreciate the sharp-looking console for a moment before plugging it in. The thing looks a lot more sophisticated than both the Wii and 360. You have to go over a few steps to set up the information for it, but once you get that done everything's a cinch. Pop a game into the vacuum-like insertion slot and sit down. Unlike the PS2 you don't have to press the reset button, which is great.

OK, I should start by saying Ive been a huge fan of all previous incarnations of the Fight Night games. They were hands down the best boxing games ever, and were an absolute blast to play, even if you weren't a fan of boxing.
Part of what made them so great were the controls, all the punching was done with rotations of the joysticks, and once learned properly, was like second nature. It was easy to think of a combo in your head, and then have your fighter execute it with ease.
Now it seems EA felt like doing to this franchise, what they keep doing to the NHL franchise, which is devise a new control system with each new version of the game. Ive played the FN4 Demo for about 4 hours today, I've gone through the tutorial several times, and do have a grasp of these "new controls" - and I'd just like to point out that in my opinion, they suck real bad.
The controls are clumsy and far too finicky. The fighters move shitty, and Manny Pacqiauo actually looks less like himself in this then he did in older versions of the game. The game hud also floats around at about mid-screen which is highly irritating.
