This thing is using a 1000cc bike engine isn't it? That must be some crazy power::weight ratio.
I wonder why they just put in some high performance electric motor... At least that way they would've had something to boast about. Electric motors, with all that HP/Torque the instant you hit the pedal. The WrightspeedX1 (236hp/182lbTorque) already outruns F360s and Carerra GTs, There is supposed to be a Tesla Roadster does 0-60 in 4seconds. (Go Google for fronting the money, lol)
Anyways, the guy launching that ferrari can't drive... he hella slipped. get a better driver and the ferrari probably would've won.
lol, yeah it used to be the Aerial Atom (supercharged Civic Type R, same body/chassis) Aerial was bought by a really rich dude forming wrightspeed, and they made magic with an electric engine making it one kick ass car.
A Tempting buy isn't it? go that fast and it'll never cost you a dime of gas, lol.
Seriously, I've always been a big fan of electric cars ever since I drove a GM EV1 (RIP) and rode in a Toyota RAV4 EV. It just seems to make more sense (no radiator, no regular oil changes, like 1/100th the number of moving parts, no alternator, no vibration, huge torque)... Anyways, I just made the http://www.fanpop.com/spots/electric-caars spot, hopefully people will start contributing to it!
