Chapter one New Life
It was eighty-nine outside in Texas. I wore my white eye lace shirt as a fare gustier. I was moving to Forks, Washington. The rainiest place in the United States of America. My mom Shelby she was a superstar in singing. She married John Jackson. I put my head in my bag trying to fall asleep but my mom keeps waking me up. When we got to the airport it was sunny as always.
“Mom, I don’t want to go” I complained.
“Cleo, I saved up like I don’t know a thousand dollars so you can spent more time with you’re father Ron” Shelby said.
I rolled my eyes and got on the plane I said good-bye to the sun. I look out the window and she was gone.
It was a four hour flight to Forks and a one hour drive with Ron that I’m a little worried about driving with Ron. When I got off the plane it was raining. I ran up and give Ron a one armed awkward hug.
“it good to see you Cleo” he said. I look a lot like my Mom Shelby. But I have my dad eyes blue like the sea.
