Ruby and John?

This could be just a personal thing but I felt so bad for John and Ruby not seeing each other or being together. Then she had to marry Tyler (Hate HIM!!). Then the show ends and we never found out what happend.

What do you think? Think if the show had continued they would have found each other and been together. Or are they doomed to forever be apart?
