For better or worse, organizers are reportedly preparing a 40th anniversary edition of the inaugural Woodstock festival and this year will hold a pair of free two-day shows in both New York and Berlin, Germany.

If you can prove you went to the original Woodstock then you can receive free drinks all night at The Queen's Head pub in Islington, London 20th August 2009.
Come in Woodstock type clothes ( flares, flower power etc) and you can listen to up and coming bands playing your favourite Woodstock hits from the likes of Crosby, Stills and Nash, Jimi Hendrix and The Who

The party kicks offf at 8pm at The Old Queen's Head, 44 Essex Road, Islington, London, N1 8LN
