That same day - Eric's perspective
Oh Jeez...Why did she have to point me out to her friends? I wasn't interesting. They know that I had been watching her for months.
To stop meeting her gaze and being embarrassed I hid myself in a book hoping that I would stop being embarrassed.
"Hey Eric you must be really into that book," My friend Tom said to me as he sat down across from me.
Maybe not. I put the book down a bit "Oh yeah it's great. Hey do you have girls staring at you?" I asked him
His face lit up and he smirked "Oh yeah it's great. I get asked out all the time," he said
I frowned "Nobody ever did right?" I asked
He frowned "No. So what girl is staring at you. Is she cute?" he asked
I nodded over to Athena "Her. She just noticed me today. Do you think she's cute?" I asked
Tom got a weird look on his face "Dude that's my sister Athena. Do you like her? I can hook you up with her," he said grinning and starting to stand up

the crystal night
Chapter 2 the sightings
I woke early the next morning feeling surprisingly refreshed, I had slept like a rock, every thing was fine, I got up and went to the bathroom I brushed my teeth and washed my face, I got back to my room and glared at the window, the sun was glowing through the curtains, I sighed frustrated, we have had a long sunny summer this year which is bad news for me I burn very easily so I have to be extra careful to stay out of the sun when possible.
I got dressed, brushed my heir and sat and scowled at the sun shining through the window, at half past eight I bounded down stairs and into the kitchen and opened the medicine cabinet and there it was a bright yellow bottle with nasty orange writing stating itself as sun cream I sighed and squirted some into my hand, I rubbed it in and headed for the living room I sat on the arm of the sofa and watched mum wrestle with Rogers buttons
“Hay mum I’m goanna head off now”

Marshall
|
I was on break at work, when my friend Becky came running into the room jumping up and down, waving her arms about with three strips of paper in her hand. I work at Ladybug Child Care in Minnesota. “MELEAH!” she screamed. I stared at her annoyed. “I won, I won, I won!!” she screamed causing our coworkers to stare at her like shes nuts. Which was pretty funny, because she is nuts. Haha.
“Won what?” I asked annoyed at her freakishly hyperness.
“Tickets!” she said with a huge smile, he handed me a ticket. I stared at it.
“Oh, uh… oh,” I said. I didn’t know what to think. She had tickets to Eminem, my ex boyfriend. We dated five years ago and we have a son Keith, but Marshall don’t know of him. “So, who you goin with?” I asked.
“You!,” she said pointing at me. I sat there puzzled not knowing what to say to her.
“NO!” I randomly yelled out. “I am not going to an Eminem concert with you! I don’t want to see him!” I objected.
“Oh come on, maybe something good will come from it,” she begged.
