ERIN NOBLE'S JOURNAL
DAY 1
This is the first day- or night- of me staying with the Dracula's. They believe I'm a half fang. I must slay them to save my brother.

DAY 2
I offered to look after Ingrid whilst Vlad was at school. This would give me the perfect opportunity to slay her. I was glad that Ryan's blood had poisoned her. It served her right. My brother wasn't some snack he was a human being. Now he's one of them.

Sadly we didn't come away with a BAFTA for Young Dracula last night - The Revenge Files of Alistair Fury won. But thanks for all your support – it meant the world!

The words spoken by Robin in opening episode of this series seemed to sum up the overall feeling of the species for the episodes to come. Indeed, compared to the Slayer Eric Van Helsing, the vampires shown in the show Young Dracula are the very emboidment of 'awesome'.

Young Dracula is unlike any other vampire show on television in one great respect: this is a children's show. However, unlike many children's shows of current times, Young Dracula credits its audience with intelligence, never once dumming things down to a level that could be considered disrespectful.

The count demands Vlad show him some respect by throwing a Carpathian feast, which involves a vampire being thrown to the flames - and Erin is the intended victim.
