A Series of Unfortunate Events Question

What color of you imagine Violet's eyes being?

I'm planning on drawing some characters, including Violet, and want some input.

I know eye color is not shown in the books and the only mention of it is Violet (in Austere Academy) saying that her and Klaus don't have the same eye color.

In the movie they are hazel, but when what did you picture it when you were reading the books?

I imagine everything anime-styled, so you can use this image as inspiration for her violet eyes. I'm not a big fan of Code Geass, but Lelouch's eyes are the closest thing to what I imagine for Violet (plus, the hair is silky and dark too!).
