When Itachi Loved Pickles
Itachi loved his pickles,
more than any other dared.
He ate them with pleasure everyday,
without a single care.
He crunched into them slowly,
and savored every bite.
Then drank the sour juice,
and did so with delight.
His fingers smelled of vinegar,
his hair in disarray.
For all he ever did in life,
was eat pickles everyday.
His mouth began to turn bright green,
from his teeth unto his tongue.
His life was seeming out the door,
and then the door bell rang.
There stood an elderly woman,
with hair so stiff and gray.
She gave Itachi a smile and said,
"Hello sir, good day."
Itachi stared at the woman,
a pickle in one hand.
Then the woman looked in her bag and asked,
"Want to try young man?"
Itachi gave her that death glare look,
but she was never swayed.
She merely showed him a little thing,
so soft and delicately made.
Itachi marveled at its roundness,
the smell of sweetly things.
Their many colors and auroras,
all tied together with strings.
Itachi dropped his pickle quickly,
and ordered fifteen to go.
And then he popped one in his mouth,
and what happened, no one knows.
It has often been told though,
that Itachi's pickle days ended.
The day that woman knocked on his door,
and gave him something splendid.
The day his life was turned around,
by something so completely new.
Dangos,
Believe it, it's true.
