"Goddesses dammit!" Ash cried out.
High school was a total shitstorm for Ash. She hated almost every subject...but especially gym. Her assignment today...the Rope...
She stood there in her orange t-shirt and her blue shorts and stared up at the rope. It was about 200 feet tall, and btw, Ash was enrolled in the most advanced school there was. She was told to climb the whole thing. Her half-friend Candi Umbri stood beside her.
"Swear jar!"Candi said in her omg-she's-a-blonde-bitch voice. Ash rolled her eyes.
"Why can't I just fly up there?"she asked the gym teacher.
Coach Morgan was one of those gym teachers that wasn't really supposed to be one. She was fat, so Ash thought she had no right to teach physical fitness when she wasn't even fit, herself. She had gray hair that wasn't just cropped, it was boy-style. Her yellow eyes focused on everything that happened in the gym. The old cat may be old, but her eyes are sharp. Her voice sounded like she had a stuffy nose, even though she didn't.
"Because, Miss Black, this is a test of upper arm strength, and are wings upper arms? No, they're not."
Ash hated her attitude. She wanted to jack-slap Coach Morgan so bad...
"Now climb the rope, Black!"
Ash's eye twitched, then she launched onto the rope. She climbed up about halfway, then she slipped about 3 feet.
"Shit!"she said under her breath.
"Swear jaaaaar!"Candi yelled from below. Ash groaned, then kept climbing. She got to the top, then jumped off. She opened her wings before she hit the ground, so she landed softly.
"You failed the test, Miss Black,"Coach Morgan said, writing
an F on Ash's paper.
"WHAT?!How did I fail?!"Ash yelled at Morgan. Morgan smiled.
"You didn't climb down, so that disqualified you."
Everyone else in the gym class watched as Ash's head literally began to steam.
"Watch it, Black! I'll have to send you to the principal!"Morgan threatened. Ash exhaled sharply.
Candi stared at Ash."No Ash don't do it!"
Ash's cocky smile spread across her face."Bring it on, Fat
Granny!"The whole class gasped.
Coach Morgan's face got redder than a tomato."PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE!!!NOW!!"
Ash left, still smiling. Candi pouted. She facepalmed herself.
Ash entered the principals office and sat in one of the tacky white leather seats. The front desk lady turned in her wheelychair and away from her computer. Her big glasses made her dark brown eyes look enormous.
"Yesh?"she asked Ash. She was a small calico cat with very large ears. Her black hair was pulled up into a bun. She wore a pinstripe suit.
Ash crossed her arms.
"Gym? Well then what's ur name?" she asked. Ash looked at the womans nameplate. Her name was Ms. Sheila.
"Well, Ms. Sheila, my name is Ash Black."
"Oh well I've heard of you," she said in a smooth voice. She looked behind Ash's chair. "Oh! Hello there! You must be the new student!"
"What the--?"Ash turned around in the chair.
The new boy. He was a black dog. His shaggy red hair looked unkept and it was cut around his chin. His eyes were red. That freaked Ash out. Black dog with red eyes.
"And your name is... Shuck? Stark Shuck?"Ms Sheila asked. The boy nodded. He smirked at Ash, who was shrinking into the chair.
"Well here is a way to resolve both of your problems...Ash here will give you a tour of the school to get rid of her punishment debt!"
Ash automatically groaned without thinking. Stark laughed.
"She's funny. I think we'll get along just fine Miss...--"he looked at the nameplate"--Sheila."
Ms Sheila smiled. She handed him a slip for his professor."Now go along Ash!Shoo!"
Ash stood up from the chair. She left with Stark trailing behind her.<He's so creepy...>she thought.
She went back to the gym room."Ok...you just...wait here..."she said. He sat on a bench. She ran into the girls locker room and changed from the orange tshirt and blue shorts.
When she came back, he was meditating, cross-legged on the floor. His eye opened slightly as Ash walked towards him. When she got closer to him, he stood up.
"That was...interesting..." Ash commented. Stark smirked.
"Little girl, you haven't seen interesting yet."He winked at her.
