I noticed that. I wonder who has killed him.

The image implies that he committed suicide by blade, or was killed by the Red Queen.

He either killed himself or she (the red queen) killed him. He begged the white queen to kill him but she refused due to her rule of not killing anyone. Plus he was not a good dude.
