Alpha and Omega 2 Cover
A few years after their trip to Idaho, Kate and Humphrey are happily mated with pups of their own. But when the youngest, Runt, disappears, Kate, Humphrey, and the others must get them back while an all-alpha enemy pack lurks nearby planning mischief.
Since my viewing of "Alpha and Omega" along with many readings of various fanfiction stories, I was highly amused to find that "Alpha and Omega 2" was not forgotten. I saw the beginning preview clip on TheChriZ1995's channel, and saw half of it on Youtube after it came out (I still haven't finished, but I've watched enough to know the general gist of the remainder of the story.
I'll get straight to the point. In some ways, this movie is worthy of an "Alpha and Omega" sequel, but in other ways, it had its faults. I'll list them below...
The storyline was great. Adventure and suspense is always my type of story. The determination of everyone to get Runt back was very uplifting, including his older siblings. It also maintained its themes from the first of love and acceptance. This story didn't fail on me there. Also, sexual innuendos were removed.
First of all, the fact that the original actors didn't return to voice the characters was a big letdown. I was certain that Justin Long and Hayden Panettiere would return at least, but alas, no such luck. Ben Disken and Kate Higgins did a good job, though. Also, the animation was a bit more digitally-noticeable, with not as much clarity as the predecessor. Finally, the short run-time has made many fans feel like there should be more. These are definitely things which, I feel, took away from the film a bit.

Despite the negatives, this movie still was worth watching for me. I loved the theme of love and family, as I mentioned, and action is always appreciated. I'd see it again if I had the chance.
If you, like me, don't mind changes too much, this movie will be good for you. If you are too used to the first film, you might find the changes in this film too much. I can't guarantee you'll like it, but if you like the first, there's no harm in giving this one a try!
