Kate was sitting at the edge of the den looking down on the moonlite park. The breeze blew through the trees and the sky was bright and clear. Kate had a lot of things on her mind but there was just one thing she had to get straight? For the past week or so KIMs powers were very weak and she wasnt sure why? KIM was always keeping quiet about it and would never really tell her anything? "I think tonite is the night I find out why? Kate stood up and walked to the den and saw KIM lieing inside with her head tucked away underneath her arms. "KIM... she whispered." KIMs head rose, as she let out a yawn. "Oh hey kate.. Something wrong?" Kate shrugged and nodded her head. "Well I have to ask you something? Y have you been holding back for the past week?" KIM tilted her head, "What do you mean?" Kate rolled her eyes, "Oh common KIM Ive been with you long enough to know what your strengths are and Ill be honest you really have been holding yourself back lately....... WHY??" KIMs ears lied back as she took a long stretch. "Ok OK Ive been wanting to show you something... something that is important me." "Oh and what would that be?" Kate asked. KIM gave her a little grin, "Meet me outside and Ill more than happy to show you!" Kate nodded as walked out side and sat in front of the den waiting impatiently. A few minutes went by and Kate was losing patience. "Common KIM I cant wait no more!" She said happily. KIM stood in the darkness of the den looking outside at kate. "Ok... here goes nothing." She said to her self. KIM stood outside of the den and the moonlight lite her up. Kates jaw dropped... "KIM... is that really you?" She asked. A small smile stretched across KIMs face. "Yes.... this is what I really wanted to show you. Remember how I used to be alive many years ago.. this is what I actually looked!" KIMs eyes were no longer the split demon eyes she once had, this time her eyes were a bright baby blue and her fur was a reddish brown color. She still had the black tips on her hair but for Kate it was like looking at a new wolf that she had never seen before! "SO this was your surprise?" Kate asked. Kim nodded, "Yes this is something that I have always wanted to show you and which is why i havent been giving it my all lately.. You see i needed to save some of my power in order to do this." A small tear ran down KIMs cheek. "Its just to bad I cant stay this way.." Kate walked up to KIM and gave her a hug. "You know.. to be honest you look to cute and cuddly to be the parks protector!" KIM just giggled "What my blue eyes aren't terrifying enough?" Kate just laughed "I still have one question though KIM? If you were alive what was your real name?" KIM took a breath and let out a sigh. "My real name is... LEXI."
