EPaws Sigh. Damn them to hell for making the withdrawal of the sword a non-event. It was the single most important moment in the warrior's life for God's sake. Sigh. It was the Medieval equivalent of the Daimyo (Feudal Lord). His calling moment and they screwed it up. I don't care for the fact that the titulary head and the name of the show was part and parcel of its release from the stone. Those who think it okay, fine, but there is something severely lacking in the depth of the moment by doing this. It deprives Arthur of his KI and personal disciplined depth in the reliance. TOTALLY WRONG to the Ethos of the character as man and legend. BULLSHIT! Very nice composition, my dear.

Bonne-Bell Yeah, I hated it too. Can they ever let Arthur do something on his own? That should have been his moment yet they took even that from him.

EPaws OH yeah, Bonne. He never got to actually OWN the moment. That disappointed me gravely. Call me a purist but it is the one thing, the only thing, I did not want them to toy with. It is so intrinisically Arthur.
