Lucerne28 Just speculation on my part, but based upon the preview, it sure appears that Uther, who probably turned in his grave when Arthur married Gwen the former maid, is getting some payback by tormenting poor Gwen. I bet the first words out of his mouth to Arthur will be: “ You married the bloody maid? Seriously?" Hey Uther, Gwen is one of the best things that has ever happened to your family. By the way, color me surprised, I thought the scene we saw from the official S5 trailer of Gwen falling to the ground, was part of whatever Morgana will do to Gwen in that four episode arc. Did not expect Uther to also be Gwen's tormentor. Like father like daughter.

HMGwen One of the teaser lines from 5.03 is what does a serving girl know about being queen? Arthur, or Gwen, tosses it back about how she served for 3 years and she was smart in the past two episodes to find a spy and use that knowledge to bring down an enemy of Camelot. Basically Arthur is going to tell dear old dead Dad you don't approve of your daughter-in-law, tough; I'm not dumping her to please you. Uther the un-friendly ghost is going to see Gwen as a bad influence and tries to kill her, so Arthur would be free to marry a princess or a lady. Shortsighedness runs in the family; and if Uther thinks Arthur will revere him after trying to hurt his wife he can forget it.
