Is anyone here an adult beginner? (16+ when you started?)

I just turned 17 on thursday, I bought my slippers today, and I'll be starting in an open adult beginner class in the next couple months.
I'm really nervous, could anyone please give me advice on what it'll be like or how I could prepare?
