Chapter 1: Soul Mate?

"You are my soul mate."
I looked up in confusion and shock, "What?"
"You are my soul mate," the tall gorgeous guy repeated to me.
I stared at him in disbelief for a second before shaking it off. "Whatever," I replied not believing this guy at all no matter how trusting this guy seemed. I shrugged it off as joke, knowing that nobody, especially someone like him, goes up to someone random says something like that and be serious unless that person was absolutely crazy. As I turned to leave I felt a firm hand grip my arm stopping me in my tracks. At his touch I felt an electric shock go throughout my whole body, something that has never happened to me.
"Bonnie," he pleaded causing me to turn around to face him.
"How did you know my name?" I asked suspiciously, glaring at my 'soul mate'
"You are my soul mate," he repeated again as if those four words explained everything.
"Stop saying that."
"Why?" he asked his eyes demanding and annoyed? Why should he be annoyed.
"Why! You want to know why?" I spouted out showing my annoyance. "Because this is all just some stupid joke and it's not funny!" I exclaimed tired of his stupid games.
"It's not a joke, Bonnie. Why can't you accept that we are meant to be," he demanded of me.
"I don't even know who you are or what your name is," I whispered as I cast my eyes down to the white and blue tiles of the school, wondering what the hell was wrong with me. He lifted my head back up with his comforting fingers making it impossible not to stare at his electric blue eyes. I could feel the love pouring from them, as crazy as I sound. I blushed at the contact that his fingers made, making me wonder why I was acting like this. I felt him move closer to me and I could smell leather mixed with cologne on him. Soon enough I felt his lips on mine. Our lips mingled with each other fighting for control while an electric shock coursed through my body with a heavier force. Before we could continue further, he pulled away staring straight at me.
"Damon," he mumbled.
"What?" I questioned confused and disoriented from the kiss.
"My name, it's Damon."
"Oh."
"Bonnie, I know this is hard to understand, not to mention a lot to take in, but I know you felt it, the connection between us. We are meant to be together, and you should know that." I stared at Damon for a second before silently turning around to leave, expecting him to stop me. It never came; I walked out of the building feeling angry. This had to be some sick joke; a guy who looks like that would only ever say or do that to me in my dreams. I simply hoped he wouldn't show up in my dreams.
