Kelly will always be the #1. But yeah, it always bothered me how Mattel never found a good replacement for her. The shoes Kelly left back are impossible to fill. And due all respect to Diana Kaarina but she isn't a good voice actress. She doesn't put much emotion into her lines and is basically impersonating Kelly. There are so many talented voice actresses out there but why Mattel chose her will never make sense to me. Oh and Kelly Sheridan is very able to voice a contemporary teenage girl. Watch the My Scene movies and you'll know what I mean. - Ok rant over. posted over a year ago.

Diana might be a good Broadway singer, but she isn't a good voice actress. I agree that she can't bring her characters to life. To be honest, I have no idea how Mattel eliminated 70 girls to choose Kelly to be Clara, but seemed to just throw in some random actress when replacing her. "Wow, we need a replacement. Fast. She never had a role as a voice actress before she started voicing Barbie. She's a Broadway singer and actress. I think Mattel hired her because of her high pitched and "younger" voice. But yeah, lately they haven't put half as much effort as they did with i.e. "Nutcracker" in their recent movies. I could come up with a huge book of voice actresses who would be suitable and capable of voicing Barbie.
